Owen Daniel and Emily Anne

It's been a really long time since I blogged and I have lots to catch up on...but I can't wait until I get all caught up before I post this.

David, Adam and I are so excited to announce the arrival of our two little miracles, Emily Anne and Owen Daniel, on October 19th.

Emily Anne came first, born at 8:54am.  She weighed in at 5 pounds 7 ounces and was 18 inches long.  Owen Daniel quickly followed at 8:55am.  He was 5 pounds 4 ounces and was also 18 inches long.  They arrived at 36 weeks and 4 days and the entire pregnancy we were so worried that they would need to spend time in the NICU and all our prayers were answered when they were declared healthy enough to just stay with us in our room.  These two little humans are the most perfect creatures.  Owen looks just like his Daddy and Emily looks so much like Adam.  You can already see how different their personalities are.  We feel so incredibly blessed and can't thank all our friends and family enough for all the support over the past few years.  We love you all so very much.

I was pretty much in bed at the hospital but I was able to grab a few photos at the hospital.  At some point I will post all about the IVF cycle, the pregnancy and the birth.

Here is the first photo shoot of these perfect babies.  I can't wait to watch them grow up, although I never want them to grow up.  Aren't they amazingly wonderful?

I had to look again. The only thing better than a brand new baby, is two brand new babies!! I can't wait to meet them. I was noticing how hairy Owen is! lol and happy for Emily that she's not! They really are too stinkin' cute, and oh so heartwarming:)
